Abstrakt:	The article presents the author's views on some ethical guidelines that are needed to be taken care of during the compilation process of a periodical. The author urges the editorial board members to respect the intellectual independence of authors. He insists that members of the editorial board are empowered to make final decision concerning acceptance or rejection of a manuscript.
