The article reports on the Endangered Instruments program launched by the Settlement Music School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to awaken the interest of school children in the city on good music. It is said that a national decline in the number of students who play less-common musical instruments have prompted the school to initiate its program. Robert Capanna, executive director of the music school, hopes that the Quadrus and Friends Musical Journey included in the program will encourage children with musical impulses to act on them. |
