The article presents the role of home gardening in the educational system. The author emphasizes its incorporation in pupils' nature study through preparation of the soil, planting of seeds and proper planting depth with the purpose of acquiring knowledge through practical work. The author recommends the teacher to ask the students to raise flowers and vegetables before giving school credits. |
