The article presents the financial indicators of Spain. The share prices of Spain endured a sharp correction until early June 2006, with the benchmark Ibex 35 index of leading companies collapsing from May to June. The collapse were attributed to the fear of investors in higher global inflation and interest rates. However, Ibex 35 showed some signs of recovery in late June and continues to show a net gain of 7.5%. The Spanish stock market proceeds in response to global macroeconomic factors. |
