Abstrakt: In 1031 consecutive patients (839 men, 192 women) who underwent coronary artery bypass surgery at Ullevål Hospital in the period 1988–1990, the risk of early mortality increased in a dose response pattern from increasing aortic cross-clamping time and increasing cardiopulmonary bypass time.
