Abstrakt:	The article presents information on two nonprofit organizations in Indiana that use horses to provide psychotherapy and a positive learning environment. Theraplay, a pediatric outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Carmel use horses as a treatment tool in physical and occupational therapy sessions. At the Hope Haven Horse Farm riding skills are seen as a means of promoting individual growth and creating life-changing behaviors for at-risk youth.
