Urban spaces and panoramic vision.

Abstrakt: The article presents the photo essay by Doug Harper using rotating lens panoramic camera in studying urban landscapes. The camera is able to capture the natural range of vision of about 150 degrees in width and about one-third of the width in height. Photographs of the four cities include Dublin, Hongkong, Bologna and Amsterdam. The author took photos of The Spire of Dublin, central city, Statue of James (Big Jim) Larkin and O'Connell street in Dublin. He photographed in comparison the neighborhood and downtown Hongkong, Central Kowloon and Mong Kok.
