The article focuses on actress Kathy Bates in the U.S. She had been around for more than 20 years in the movie industry before her first Oscar nomination and win for best actress in the film "Misery" in 1991. Since winning best actress she has been nominated two more times in her succeeding films. She said that after her Oscar win, casting directors came calling to her agent. |
