The article focuses on the political crisis faced by the Middle East region and the attempts made to solve the problems. The crucial situations were apparently caused by the involvement of several countries which contributed to the deficiencies of the region. These include the confrontations between the U.S. and the Soviet Union and the impression of military supremacy by Israel among its other Arab neighbors. The situations gave the United Nations a difficult task of implementing solutions for the crucial situations. It claims that a formal peace treaty and other diplomatic actions could help avoid disastrous recurrences in the region. |
