ON DISARMAMENT ISSUES: THE POLISH PLAN.

Abstrakt: The article focuses on the proposal of Polish government that there will be no additional atomic weapons in the territories of Poland, the Federal Republic of Germany and to the territorial waters of these countries. The freeze would be applicable to all nuclear charges and parties maintaining armed forces in the area of the proposed freeze of armaments would undertake obligations not to produce, not to introduce or import, not to transfer to other parties in the area or to accept from other parties in the area. Verification would consist of inspection at plants in the area covered by the agreement, at frontier railroad and waterway junctions and at air and sea ports by mixed commissions composed of representatives of the Warsaw Pact and of the North Atlantic Treaty on a parity basis.
