The article discusses the result of a study citing the influence of the independent variables such as gender, grade level, urban/rural environment, and the country of origin on the social and cultural conditioning in various educational systems and science concepts in Jordan and in the U.S. The inquiry into cognitive development in a different cultural settings may enable the development of natural environment which has the potential to represent the cognitive processes as they function in the actual setting. |
