Abstrakt:	The article discusses the author's experiences with an energetic and spirited young boy in his French education class. He recalls to have liked the performance of this boy. However, on the earlier parts of the school year, he, who was also new as a teacher, had difficulties in relating with this boy. This was because the boy was still hiding his Créole accent in his language. Nonetheless, both of them took this difficulty as a challenge and they ended up inspiring each other.
