Abstrakt: The article talks about the concepts tissue engineering at a molecular level in the dental field. The cells in dental tissue engineering, such as odontoblast, cementoblast and osteoblast are offered. The death of these cells may occur via necrosis or apoptosis. The structure and roles of the extracellular matrix, the influence of mechanical forces, and the role of vasculature and neovascularization in tissue engineering for dental applications are discussed.
