Abstrakt:	The article focuses on the law department of the Educational Alliance of New York City, which was established for the benefit of the foreign poor. The department protects the uneducated and non-acclimated people who, before the creation of the provision, have been swindled and even cheated in trade or wages. Many homes are saved by the law department from disruption by appreciating the conditions and setting forces to work for a readjustment to new conditions.
