Abstrakt: The article discusses the author's views regarding the historical accounts of political leaders and the national elections in the U.S. According to the author, Andrew Jackson was the first president of the nation who had been elected because he truly represented the greater portion of the American people. The author believes that President William Henry Harrison had won in the election due to his campaign that focused on rural life like most of the constituents.
