Abstrakt: The article examines the ethical problems of scientists. The author explores the meaning of science and its relation to ethics and religion. As defined by the author science is a study of the world as it is, including the observation of natural phenomena and of planned experiments, together with mathematical or deductive reasoning based on the results of previous and present observations which lead to theories or statements of supposed laws on which fresh experiments can be based. The section discusses the relation of Christian ethic to contemporary science. It also enumerates several problems of morality presented to scientists during the armaments race.
