The article aims to compare the relative efficacy of the commercially available Jolly Farmer Nursery compost tea, powdered-kelp products from Acadian SeaPlants Inc., and Manzate 75 dry flowable as foliar protectants against the potato late blight pathogen Phytophthora infestans. Factors that include population density, community structure, and antibiosis ability of phylloplane bacteria present on potato foliage were examined before and after foliar treatment. |
