| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the management of an open fracture of the proximal tibia and subsequent nonunion in a patient with a previous knee fusion. The medical history of the patient is presented. The effectiveness of knee arthrodesis in treating severe arthritis in a young patient is discussed. The usefulness of intramedullary nailing as an alternative method to plate fixation of fracture nonunion is cited. |
