Abstrakt: The article presents a lesson plan which would compare displacement and time aimed at deriving constant velocity. The lesson is appropriate for Grade Eighth algebra classes. Some of the concepts that students can learn include collection and analysis, identification of positive correlation (patterns), identification of proportional relationships, meaning of the slope of the line in a linear relationship and computation of the slope of a line. Students need to be familiar with neat, simple graphs. Basic knowledge about fractions and previous experience looking for and identifying patterns is necessary.
