Abstrakt: The article presents an interview with doctor Pia de Solenni, awardee of the Pontifical Academies Prize by John Paul II in 2001. When asked about the meaning of feminism in the light of her studies of St. Thomas Aquinas, she responded that feminism respects the woman's vital identity as an image of God and it is more concerned with how a woman exists instead of the things that she can do. She enumerates the four basic categories of feminism which includes the feminism of equality, difference, deconstructivist feminism and the anti-essentialist feminism. She believes that Christian feminism could make an impact to Muslim women in terms of its constructive and creative approach.
