Abstrakt: Discusses the depictions of the Midwestern industrial landscape by Charles Sheeler and Philip Evergood during the 1930's. Sheeler used his knowledge of photography and industrial design to create a vision of American industrial space. Evergood emphasized his view of the worker struggling and enduring in the changing industrial landscape in his paintings.
