The article highlights the First International Symposium on Systems and Control in Aerospace and Astronautics in China in January 2006. Topics discussed during plenary sessions at the event included "Satellite Communications: Status and Trends" and "Entanglement of Control and Information Technology: Towards Intelligent Control." Working papers presented during the second day of the conference tackled on such issues as spacecraft avionics, complex systems theory and unmanned aerial vehicle systems. Attendees were given a tour of the Harbin Institute of Technology Space Control and Inertial Technology Research Center. |
