| Abstrakt: | The article presents the author's views regarding the article "An Early Case of Color Symbolism: Ochre Use by Modern Humans in Qafzeh Cave," which has been published within the issue of the periodical. The author discusses color symbolism in context of Paleolithic archaeology. He focuses on the evolution of symbol use and pigment use. According to the author, in the case of Qafzeh Cave, Israel, an opportunity was missed to research the origin of behavioral modernity in Africa. |
