Abstrakt: The article presents the study of the attitudes of students in the introductory college biology class towards evolution. One of the problems facing science educators today is the continuing attempts of procreationists to include the teaching of the Genesis version of creation in the science curricula. Experts believed that the doctrine of divine creation is as much as the scientific theory as the theory of evolution and added that it is the right of the student to be taught both the theories of origins. Moreover, this study is an investigation of the relationships among selected background variables and to acquire the standard information of the attitudes of the students on their views on evolution.
