Abstrakt: The article discusses Canada's rules on proactive disclosure that require all senior bureaucrats, cabinet members, parliamentary secretaries, and ministerial staff to post their travel and hospitality expenses on departmental websites. The rule was instituted after George Radwanski, a former privacy commissioner, was found to have spent lavishly in travel and hospitality while in office. The article argues that close examination of the information posted shows that officials are still spending lavishly on travel.
