Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the retrospect and prospect for science education research in 1980. Many incidental benefits were accomplished in the 1980 reported research including the intellectual development model, conceptual model, and the functional model for learning and teaching. According to the author, the future of science education will probably continue to rest upon the activities of the doctoral students and their professors. The author mentions some topics that needed immediate attention including career development among professional science teachers, instrumentation for diagnosis and formative evaluation, and conceptual maps for several disciplines. |
