| Abstrakt: | The article reports that the two committees studying the education system in South Carolina have reached an agreement on the major points of a five-year reform plan that includes a set of new programs ranging from remedial education to teacher improvement. Governor Richard W. Riley and Superintendent of Education Charlie G Williams have appointed the two committees to develop a legislative agenda and cost estimates for the plan. The plan will cost the state a lot of money for the five-year reform plan. |
