The article relates an author's experience as a systematic psychotherapist who have an interest in the notion of change since it is the central focus of any therapist's work. The author stresses that theories concerning changes vary according to the extent that they emphasize stability or movement as the primary state of life. He added that theories reflect the human desire to retain things the way they are and to resist any difference because of fear. |
