Abstrakt: The article presents a study on the association of serum soluble heat shock protein 60 (sHSP60) with toll-like receptor 4 polymorphism and severity of coronary artery disease. The study was designed to assess the association of sHSP60 in patients with CAD. A prospective study was conducted to 329 consecutive patients admitted for elective coronary artery bypass. The methods used in the study were presented. The results of the study was discussed.
