The article presents a list and a discussion of "BusinessWeek" magazine's ranking of the top 50 undergraduate business schools. The top five are: University of Pennsylvania's Wharton, University of Virginia's McIntire, Notre Dame's Mendoza, MIT's Sloan, and Emory's Goizueta. The author explains how the list was compiled and ranked. A diagram consisting of survey answers from undergraduate business majors is presented. A graph depicting information regarding starting salaries for various business majors is included. A series of graphs provide information about the economy, undergraduate hiring and business enrollment. INSET: Grading the Schools. |
