Abstrakt:	The article reflects on the need of students to be taught of moral responsibility in the schools in the U.S. It argues that science has helped cave the foundations of moral responsibility. It requires carrying out mutual obligations and certainty. Teaching moral responsibility in the schools is said to be an impossible task and it needs effort like placing morality in the curriculum. Students must be taught how to accept the consequences of their own behavior to fill in their sense of purpose.
