The article presents information on the reorganization of the defense policy of Germany. Military planning was inevitable after the end of Cold War. Strengthening the armed forces would guarantee security and economic stability to Germany. The German government felt it important to participate in international peace programs to necessitate global political support. However, economic recession is responsible in slowing down the defense planning in Germany to some extent. |
