The article presents a study of the literature surrounding the diagnosis, treatment and management of hip dislocation in cerebral palsy. The methods of the review are discussed, as well as the diagnosis of hip dislocation. The causes of the ailment are discussed, including an asymmetric muscle mass and load bearing affect bone due to delayed motor development. Risk rates and patient surveillance are discussed, along with surgery options. INSET: Management of hip dislocation. |
