Abstrakt: The article presents a paper that discusses the training for technical management in the textile industry at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland. The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, which was founded in 1855, is composed of 11 sections that deals practically with all branches of technical science. There is no special section for textile engineering, it only forms a part of the mechanical engineering section, which devotes the first two years to scientific training, with the subjects dealt with being mathematics, physics, mechanics, chemistry, drawing and mechanical engineering, and serve as a foundation to the technical training in the second period of the complete course.
