The article discusses the basis of recruitment and training of employees in textile industry in the U.S. The Textile Institute has cited the recruitment problem depends more on external affairs than on internal affairs. Employee's training must include technical training of the highest order and of the most up-to-date nature of textile industry. A study which also identifies that men and women were contented to forego promotion and remain in lower paid jobs rather than lose their positions and risk either having no work at all or finding unskilled work in another trade at low wages. |
