Abstrakt: The article examines whether unbelievers are emotionally moved by religious or devotional music. Devotional music created by Anton Bruckner, Johannes S. Bach and other composers evoke in listeners emotions of reverence, solemnity, agape, hope, serenity, ecstasy and other emotions. Sentimentality involves experiencing feeling.
