The article discusses the development and need for liaison in the Textile Institute. The institute has already formed a coordinating center wherein concerns about the textile industry are addressed as well as standards are set. The institute also provides education and publication of scientific importance through its journal and it arranges meetings about the advancement of textile technology. However, a general liaison body should be set up to answer any questions about the scientific, technical, educational, commercial and other issues about the industry. |
