She mentions the growth of the department as more academic staff, researchers, and laboratory technicians arrived, allowing the department to move to the Medical School in the Stopford in 1973 Building. She also mentions her first acquaintance with professor Tim Lee at a party through his secretary Pearl Townsend in 1972. |
