| Abstrakt: | The article relates the author's experience in meeting people in the diners, cafes and lounges of trains. He had dinner with a couple aboard the westbound Lake Shore Limited. He met an Air Force female officer whose job is to guard a missile silo in North Dakota. He also had dinner with two ladies, one a spinster, and a middle-aged couple aboard the Silver Star in 1997. |
