The article focuses on the study conducted between March 1998 to April 1999 that verified the risk for osteoporotic fracture among elderly patients with atrial fibrillation taking warfarin in the U.S. It explains on the study's different results among men and women patients. It also provides information on the mechanisms that caused warfarin users could be inclined to osteoporotic fractures. |
