| Abstrakt: | The article presents a summary of a report by the American Psychiatric Association's (APA) Council on Healthcare Systems and Financing. The council has provided support to the Office of Healthcare Systems and Financing on issues relating to the implementation of the Medicare portion of the Medicare Modernization Act. The Committee on APA/Business Relations has further expanded its outreach to the business community through both ongoing projects and programs and new initiatives. The Committee on Public Funding for Psychiatric Services continues to provide help on issues related to the funding of public psychiatric services like Medicaid. |
