Abstrakt: The article focuses on the molecular characterization and phylogenetic analysis of two distinct strains of Blueberry scorch virus (BSV) in British Columbia. The two BSV-positive plants, which were collected from two separate fields, were mechanically transmitted from their original blueberry host to Nicotiana accidentalis. The two strains of BSV were completely sequenced. It concludes that the strains of BSV that were been discovered would affect the management of the disease in blueberry crops and the characterization of these strains could be used to improve diagnostic tools for monitoring.
