| Abstrakt: |
The article reports on early-stage lung cancer in Japan. The disease is classified into two categories according to the location of the tumor: central and peripheral. The treatment of each type has specific challenges. Noninvasive therapeutic modalities are required. Laser therapy is found to be effective for central-type early lung cancer. |
