Abstrakt:	The article comments on lung recruitment maneuver (RM) which depresses central hemodynamics in patients after cardiac surgery and causes acute leftward septal shift. Researchers monitored the left ventricular short axis view by transesophageal echocardiography. It was concluded that indication for RM should be very strict and should be applied with caution in patients.
