Abstrakt: | The article focuses on the idea of mathematician John Von Neumann that it would be possible to build a machine which could reproduce itself. The machine would have the ability to extract its own raw materials from the air, water, and soil, like a botanical plant. This would be made of wires, relays, batteries, devices for doing mechanical manipulation, and others. |
