Several letters to the editor in response to articles in previous issues are presented. The letters include a comment on the speech of the National Farmers Union president at the Oxford Farming Conference in England in the January 6, 2006 issue, a claim that Brazilian beef is subsidized by slave labor, a criteria for saving struggling farm businesses in the January 6, 2006 issue and information on the problems faced by various agricultural unions and organizations. |
