The article presents information on several patents issued for inventions related to industrial textiles. A patent has been issued to Werner Hoersch, of Milliken & Company, for the invention of textile substrate with polymer foam coating. The invention relates to a process for preparing composite textile and composite textile obtainable by this process as well as the use of said composite textile for automotive applications among other things. A patent has been issued to Eric Stewart and Nick Mark Carter of Polymer Group Inc., for inventing protective layer for automotive surfaces. Embodying the principles of the present invention, a protective layer is configured for protection of automotive surfaces, including specifically, the protection of a truck-bed against wear induced by a truck-bedliner. A patent has been issued to Charles Ray Masters and John Phillip Gold for inventing sunscreen fabric and method of making the same. The invention describes a sunscreen fabric for use in window coverings and the like. |
