Professionalism: A Study of Attitudes and Values.

Abstrakt: The article investigates the attitudes and values of students aspiring to become teachers. The study finds out that the degree of professionalism in the student depends on value orientations. Thus, women students committed to homemaking will have a lower degree of professional orientation. Teachers does not have enough professional attitudes needed in the profession. Several factors were considered as barriers to teaching including little understanding of the professional codes, lack of interest in accreditation and lack of support for an organization.
