Abstrakt: The article focuses on the study of schools, ministries of education and other educational authorities of Western Europe, conducted by several college and university professors who are members of the Comparative Education Society. The study compares the educational system, practices and philosophies in the several countries in order to be more understanding of other systems and to give and receive mutual enlightenment. The professors believe that the understanding by educators will reduce educational ethnocentrism in the modern world. The study of comparative education produced additional evidence to indicate that world society and education must be dynamic and move toward the ultimate consummation of all democratic governments, all economic system, all societies and all educational systems.
