Abstrakt:	The article analyzes the role of the teaching profession in the certification teachers in the U.S. The legislature and the state department of education have been delegated by legislature to manage the certification of teachers. The article talks about the terms and provisions of the State Departments of Education's mandate. Significantly, advisory councils on teacher education and certification has been formed in most states. The school board should address issues concerning teacher standards and literature. Finally, certification standards have been improving for some time.
